Vail Wade Fishing Trips
Wade fishing is an excellent way to explore our beautiful Colorado Rivers. Our full, 3/4 day, and half-day wade trips are perfect for novice and experienced anglers alike. There is nothing like standing in a river, taking in the beautiful Colorado Scenery as you fly fish for trout. Our professional guides provide you with skilled riverside instruction as well as educate you on fish habitat and entomology. Our wade trips take place on the Eagle & Roaring Fork Rivers, as well as many of our other locations around the state, like our private water locations. Join us for a day or join us for a week to experience some of the best Wade Fly Fishing in Colorado.
Target Species
Our most common catches are rainbow trout and brown trout; we do get occasional cutthroat trout.
We practice catch and release, so all fish caught must be released immediately. We are more than happy to take photos of your trip/ fish and email them to you at the end of the day.
Where We Fish
Pickup
Regardless of the trip you choose to do, our guides will pick you up at your location or you can meet us at our private cabin in Wolcott, CO.
Wrap Up
After an excellent day of fly fishing our guides will drive you back to your location. If you have any medical or dietary needs please let us know at the time of booking so we can better assist you. What's Included
Fishing Day
We are more than happy to take photos of your trip/fish and will email them to you at the end of the day. Full day wade trips include a riverside lunch complete with table and chairs. Our guides also have a cooler full of ice cold beverages for your convenience as well as snacks to munch on during your trip. If you have any medical or dietary needs please let us know at the time of booking so we can better assist you.

What To Bring
Our trips go out rain, snow, or shine and require that you prepare for the weather. Bring a rain jacket or waterproof shell to help keep you warm and dry.
Be sure to bring your camera. There is an abundance of bird life along the river, and we often see Eagles, Owls, Ospreys, and Hawks. We occasionally run into some Deer, Elk, and Moose as well.
Guide Gratuity and fishing license not included.
