March brings longer days, warmer weather and some incredible midge and BWO hatches on the Eagle, Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers. This is an excellent time of year to mix spring skiing with fly fishing. The fish are aggressive and it is not uncommon to have lights out fishing from start to finish. As we move closer to April our streamer bite picks up significantly allowing us to watch trout chase streamer patterns through shallow riffles.
