Swinging Hammers

For the last 5 weeks Bobber and I have been doing a full remodel of our Cabin in Wolcott. After removing years of Mouse droppings, railroad ties, layers of linoleum, rust, spiders and dead birds our “quick project” has nearly come to an end. We have completely remodeled the entire structure and are excited to unveil it.  For those who have visited this location in the past we are sure that you will not recognize it. Complete with 10 new windows – that encompass river views from every angle, a new deck, roof, bar, siding and a level floor, the new cabin will serve many purposes. Not only will this little gem be our headquarters it will also serve as an area for Private Cast & Taste Trips, Corporate functions, Private Boat Ramp and the occasional party. If we are there we welcome you to stop by and say hi but if we are not please respect private property. “If we are here swing in for a beer, if we are gone please move along.”  Early float season on the Eagle River is a few warm days away and we are excited to hop back in the rubber boats. Tomorrow looks like it might be the first day two of us can get a fully rigged fly fishing raft down from Edwards to Wolcott. If we are lucky enough to see the magic CFS number we are expecting to experience some amazing streamer and dry fly fishing on this 6 mile stretch.  Don’t hesitate to give us a shout for up to date river reports. We look forward to fishing with you.
