Fishing Report Eagle River July 3rd

The Eagle River is at record levels and fish are living in places you would normally be walking. Stay off the river and wait for it drop. It appears that we have reached peak run-off and the river is slowly going in the right direction. Current river flows in Avon, CO are around 3500 CFS. Normally for July the Eagle River is closer to 800 CFS and we are floating on gin clear water casting stimulators. This year this is what it looked like two days ago.

Keep an eye on the graph. We will be fishing soon. Have a safe Independence Day.
